Super Simple Sausage and Rice

1 Hillshire Smoked Sausage cut into circles
1 10 ounce package of yellow rice
1/2 chopped onion
1/2 can diced tomatoes (more if you like)
shredded cheese
1 can of corn; drained

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Cook sausage; drain and add desired seasonings, corn, onions, and tomatoes. Cook through
Prepare rice according to package directions.

Combine all ingredients and top with shredded cheese. Bake in oven for 10-15 minutes.


  1. What kind of shredded cheese? Chedder?

  2. I typically use chedder for this one but you can use whatever you prefer.
